Welcome

Being part of our parish is one of the best things you can do.

The Parish of Hemel Hempstead East comprises of two churches; Our Lady Queen of All Creation in Adeyfield, and the Church of The Resurrection in Grovehill.

Two churches but one vision; Bringing people to Jesus, forming disciples who follow his teachings, and go out to spread his message of love and salvation.

Come and be part of a community that encourages you to grow in your faith, engage with the community and become a true friend to others.

Bringing people to Jesus, forming disciples who follow his teachings and sending them out to spread his message of love and salvation.

Our Parish Vision

Let each of us please his neighbour for his good, to build him up.
— Romans 15:2

Our Discipleship Pathway

Our vision at Hemel East is to

  • bring people to Jesus, to welcome them, engage with them and provide a true sense of community.

  • form disciples through opportunities to grow their faith with others through our different groups, and through programmes such as ALPHA and GIFT.

  • empowering people who are confident in their faith, who know the gifts they have been given through the Holy Spirit, and are happy to provide service to others by lifting them up, and sending them to transform the world.

This vision guides all of our actions, the decisions we make, and where we concentrate our efforts.

We are a parish dedicated to helping people become missionary disciples, and the Discipleship Pathway is how we strive to do that.

Worship and coming to Mass should be the highlight of our week, as we gather as disciples of Christ who belong to his church and are growing in the Lord in service of him.
